1. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
1.1 You have read, understand and agree that these Terms and Conditions apply to the use of
Journey Angels services as detailed in these Terms and Conditions, Terms of Service and any
additional terms that are notified to you during the booking process and made available to you
and all persons named in the booking via email communication.
1.2 Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

2. Background
2.1 Journey Angels is a team of professional, experienced world travellers who provide
personalised travel assistance, courteous, and friendly companionship to customer(s) from
the beginning to the end of their chosen holiday, trip or journey.
2.2 Journey Angels ensure that full background checks are completed for all Journey Angels
staff at their point of recruitment and that each staff member has the necessary experience,
training and skills to professionally provide Journey Angels services.

3. Bookings & Service
3.1 Bookings are discussed on the telephone or via video call and email.
3.2 Bookings and agreed services are confirmed by email. This constitutes acceptance of
these Terms and Conditions and is valid as though you have signed this agreement.

4. Customer Pricing
4.1 Transport
Same class tickets for the companion for all transport e.g.
flights, trains, ferries etc.
Ground transport e.g. taxis, buses, inner city trains etc.
4.2 Leisure Activities – Tickets for activities, e.g. day and/or night trips and tours, art
galleries, theatre, shows, paid experiences etc.
4.3 Accommodation
At minimum, a standard double room for the companion in
the same accommodation as the customer.
(Hotel, Motel, Inn, AirBnB, B&B etc.)
4.4 Essentials
Own travel insurance, meals, snacks and drinks, visas and
vaccinations if required.

5. Cancellations and Curtailment
Customer(s):
5.1 Any changes or cancellations must be communicated to Journey Angels by telephone or
email within 24 hours of travel.
5.2 Flight, train, ferry or other transportation cancellations fees may be charged as per the
companies booking and ticket conditions.
5.3 Accommodation cancellation fees may also be charged as per the establishments
booking conditions.
5.4 Journey Angels services cancellation fees apply if less than 24 hours’ notice is given.
1 x Daily Rate
Journey Angels:
5.5 Any changes or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather,
natural disaster, terrorism etc.
5.5.1 Prior to travel – Journey Angels team will notify the customer(s) as soon as they become
aware and assist with claiming transportation and accommodation refunds etc.
Any daily rate payments made to Journey Angels will be fully refunded.
5.5.2 During the Journey – Where changed travel plans are required Journey Angels will, with
the agreement of the customer(s), make alternative arrangements. Example; changes,
additions or cancellations to destinations, accommodation, transport etc.

6. Payment
6.1 Full payment of transport and accommodation is to be made in full prior to the
commencement of the journey.
6.2 Payment to Journey Angel Services is due within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.

6.3 Customer’s food, beverages, incidentals, bathrooms, and anything other than transport
and accommodation is to be paid by the customer(s).

7. Museum and Attractions Tickets
7.1 You will have the opportunity to purchase museum and attractions tickets or in most cases
these will be purchased by Journey Angels and reimbursement costs included in the Journey
Angels invoice.
7.2 Any museum and attractions tickets purchased from local operators will be subject to
their terms and conditions.

8. Contracting Parties
8.1 The booking conditions detailed in here contain the entire contract between you and
Journey Angels. No representation, term, warranty or condition can be expressed or implied by
reference to any other writing, advertisement or conversation.
8.2 Journey Angels assists with bookings and at times contracts directly with other service
providers. All bookings with carriers and other service providers are subject to their terms and
conditions and limitations of liability. It is important to note that some of these limit or exclude
liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage. Journey
Angels cannot accept any responsibility for any loss as a result of such actions or as a result of
any act or omission of any such third parties.

9. Customer(s) Responsibilities
9.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure a valid passport, and all necessary visas,
permits or certificates are on your person for your selected journey. Journey Angels is not
liable for any problems, delays or denied entry in the event you are not in possession of valid
travel documents. i.e. passports
9.2 You agree to comply with the authority of the Journey Angel assigned, and the laws and
regulations of the counties visited, including customs and foreign exchange restrictions. If you
do not comply with said reservations, you will be asked by Journey Angels to leave the trip. You
are not eligible for refunds under such circumstances.
9.3 The Customer(s) will be responsible for their conduct and will indemnify Journey Angels
against any liability for damage caused by the customer(s). Journey Angels reserves the right
to terminate the journey in the event of behaviour deemed to be unreasonable by our staff.
9.4 You agree that Journey Angels may take photographs and films of you while you are
travelling with Journey Angels. You agree that these images may be used for marketing
purposes by Journey Angels. These images may be used in, but are not limited to, brochures,
websites, print media and promotional videos. These images may be used for publicity and
advertising without Journey Angels obtaining further consent or payment for the use of the
images.

10. Health & Safety.
10.1 Journey Angels will do its best to ensure customer(s) safety, however, Journey Angels
cannot mitigate every eventuality and as such customer’s acknowledge these risks. There may
be times when Journey Angels must make a decision for the safety and/or the best interests of
the customer(s). It is a condition of booking that you comply with the authority and decisions
of Journey Angels.
10.2 Journey Angels will not be held in any way responsible for any injury or loss of life
sustained while travelling with Journey Angels. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries
sustained if one falls over or is hit by any vehicle.

11. Insurance
11.1 Journey Angels will assist customer(s) (if required) in selecting the appropriate travel
insurance for the journey.
11.2 Travel insurance for the journey is mandatory.
11.3 Travel insurance for Journey Angels staff is covered by Journey Angels.
11.4 Journey Angels has professional Indemnity Insurance to cover any company legal
liabilities.
11.5 Any claim for damages, howsoever such claim may have arisen, will not be considered
unless reported to a Journey Angels member of staff immediately such claim arising. No claim for damages of any kind will be considered once the customer(s) has left the care and control
of Journey Angels

12. Complaints
Should you have a complaint with Journey Angels, contact us and we will do our best to rectify
your problem. If we cannot resolve your complaint at the time, please email us at
letschat@journeyangels.org and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Please leave all
the necessary contact details along with your booking reference for our records.
